Hello! 👋 Alauddin here, Co-founder - VidProposals 2.0. I have been a long time Wicked Apps-ling and know you guys love a great deal, and I am really excited to be here with our knowledge sharing platform with a no-brainer offer. So, what is VidProposals 2.0? Well, in Hindi it means My Book But it’s ok if you want to say NO it’s VidProposals 2.0 😛 Well, the original idea for VidProposals 2.0 was to have a simple note-taking solution to meet our internal struggles managing 60+ page Google Docs and realizing that it was faster to search again in Google then to search in Google doc the content that we so painstakingly documented. That pain point lead to our unique UI that makes finding content a breeze and actually makes our knowledge documentation useable again. Later, when it came time to create marketing content, we found the idea of creating PDF from our already well-structured content a waste of effort, time-consuming and expensive. So, obviously we turned the note-taking platform into a ‘lite’ lead capture/LMS 😂 Now, If you hate the idea of posting on social media and asking people to “comment below, so I can contact you manually via message box and send you my lead magnet”, then you are going to love our new profile funnel on steroids. Yep, we added the ‘Discovery’ of books and ‘Members’ section recently so now you have a professional knowledge sharing social platform without all the distractions 🤝 So, there you have it. That in a nutshell is what VidProposals 2.0 is all about. It is not a full-fledged membership site with your own personal domain and white label 🤯 Hehe, I know you were thinking that. Like I said, been a Wicked Apps-ling for a while :) The way we are addressing the content delivery/LMS issue is kinda like FB Groups, you have one main account and users can subscribe to public or gated Books. Hence, custom domain is not possible, not because we don't want to do it, it is more about how we are going about solving this content delivery issue. Gated silos on custom domains is going to have a shelf life of maybe 1-2 months in my opinion. I know I have signed up for many free and paid membership sites but haven't logged in to them in ages. 80% of those, I can't even remember unless I scroll through the 100 of sites in my LastPass list.
